Diseased Human Peripheral Blood Products, Melanoma

Primary human cells, fresh or frozen

New label, same high-quality cancer PBMCs! The product label for Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells, Frozen has been updated from “Full Collection” to “5-19 million cells” to more accurately reflect the cell number provided (in millions). As the product itself and manufacturing procedures have not changed, some inventory with the old name will be shipped during the transition period. Overview

Start immuno-oncology experiments confidently with a reliable supply of ethically sourced, fresh and frozen peripheral blood products from donors diagnosed with melanoma. Options include cancer-sourced whole blood, one-tenth leukopaks, frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (MNCs or PBMCs), and custom-isolated frozen products such as plasma and serum. We help you get the cells you need with personalized service and flexible delivery times.

Cancer-sourced leukopaks are an enriched leukapheresis product consisting of a large number of single-donor MNCs. Primary human MNCs are isolated from peripheral blood, leukapheresis, or whole blood samples using density gradient separation or red blood cell lysis and cryopreserved in animal component-free CryoStor® CS10 medium. All fresh and frozen peripheral blood products are obtained from donors diagnosed with melanoma using Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved consent forms and protocols. Additional documentation to meet institutional requirements is available upon request. Sodium heparin (Na-Hep), ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), or acid-citrate-dextrose solution A (ACDA) is added during collection as an anticoagulant.

Contact techsupport@stemcell.com if high-resolution HLA typing (Class I and Class II alleles and CMV status) is required or for donor specifications (BMI category, smoking status, ethnicity, etc.). Donors are screened for HIV-1, HIV-2, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. Certain products are only available in select territories.
