Overview

Propel your multi-electrode array (MEA) experiments forward with high-throughput MEA plates that deliver high-quality functional data at the lowest cost per well. Compatible with the Maestro Pro™ and Maestro Edge™ MEA systems by Axion BioSystems®, BioCircuit MEA™ Plates capture low-noise, high-resolution recordings from all excitable cell types (e.g. neurons, cardiomyocytes). To streamline plate preparation, each well has a spotting guide that ensures droplets are accurately placed over microelectrodes. BioCircuit MEA™ plates have clear polystyrene walls and opaque well bottoms, and are available in 24-, 48-, and 96-well formats, with 16, 16, and 8 gold electrodes per well, respectively. While each electrode is independently capable of recording and stimulation, 24- and 48-well plates are equipped with an additional stimulation electrode that provides superior stimulation capacity. Evaporation-reducing lids and built-in humidity chambers help maintain an optimal cell environment throughout your short- and long-term studies.
