Product Advantages

  • Obtain PBMCs and a range of immune cell subsets from a single leukopak

  • Allow for flexibility in your workflow by being able to freeze cells for future experiments

Overview

Start your inflammatory arthritis research with a reliable supply of ethically sourced, fresh human primary cells from the peripheral blood of donors diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). We help you get the cells you need with personalized service and flexible delivery times.

Leukapheresis is performed on donors with AS using Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved consent forms and protocols. Approximately two to three blood volumes are processed using the Spectra Optia® Apheresis System to produce a full-sized leukopak. Acid-citrate-dextrose solution A (ACDA) is added during collection as an anticoagulant. Additional documentation and high-resolution HLA typing (Class I and Class II alleles) may be available upon request. Donor specifications (e.g. BMI category, age, ethnicity, etc.) can be requested in the comment box above, after selecting from the product options. Donors are screened for HIV-1, HIV-2, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C.

Certain products are only available in select territories. Please contact your local sales representative or Product & Scientific Support at techsupport@stemcell.com for further information.
