Overview

Start experiments confidently with a reliable supply of ethically sourced, xeno-free, fibrinogen-depleted, human platelet lysate (hPL) for the expansion of cells in vitro. We help you get the blood-derived products you need with personalized service and flexible delivery times.

An alternative to fetal bovine serum (FBS), this growth factor-rich cell culture supplement was derived from healthy donor human platelets, and multiple donor units were pooled during manufacturing to minimize lot-to-lot variability. Heparin was not added during the manufacturing process and is not required for use of this product.

Human platelet lysate is sourced from US FDA-registered, AABB-certified blood banks in the United States. Units must have been acceptable for allogeneic transfusion prior to expiration.

Consent is obtained from volunteers participating in a donor collection program that is reviewed and/or approved by either an Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and/or an equivalent regulatory authority.
