Overview

pNPP (para-nitrophenyl phosphate) is a chromogenic substrate for alkaline phosphatase (ALP) that is widely used in ELISA assays. pNPP ELISA Substrate is for use with STEMCELL's ELISA antibody pair kits and is supplied in a ready-to-use format in a diethanolamine buffer. The reaction of pNPP ELISA Substrate with ALP results in a yellow, water-soluble product with an absorbance that can be read at 405 nm.
