Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have been shown to serve as disease biomarkers in liquid biopsies due to their unique phenotype and high frequency in biofluids. As such, it is critical to employ effective EV isolation methods during the pre-analytical phase so that you maximize the quality and quantity of information conveyed by the assay.
