Dr. Laura Pellegrini from the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK has developed and used award-winning human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC)-derived brain organoid models to study the choroid plexus neuroepithelial barrier and secretion functions. Learn how Dr. Pellegrini has developed this functional and selectively permeable brain barrier epithelium in a dish, and how this model can be used to study and collect a secreted cerebrospinal-like (CSF-like) fluid in vitro.
