How EasySep™ Works


Tetrameric Antibody Complex Products
Antibody complexes and dextran-coated magnetic particles are used to isolate cells in as little as 25 minutes. The antibody complexes link targeted cells to the magnetic particles. Labeled cells are pulled to the sides of the tube when the sample is placed in an EasySep™ magnet. Magnetically labeled cells (the positive fraction) will remain in the tube while untouched cells (the negative fraction) can be poured off into a new tube.

New Streptavidin RapidSphere™ Products
Our next-generation Streptavidin RapidSphere™ EasySep™ products are used to isolate mouse cells in as little as 15 minutes, making these our fastest EasySep™ kits. Unwanted cells are targeted for depletion using biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin-coated magnetic particles (Streptavidin RapidSpheres™). Labeled cells are pulled to the sides of the tube when the sample is placed in an EasySep™ magnet. Untouched cells can then be poured off into a new tube.

Streptavidin RapidSphere™ EasySep™ kits are currently available for the isolation of mouse B, pan-B, T, naïve pan-T, CD4+, naïve CD4+, memory CD4+, CD8+, naïve CD8+ T, hematopoietic progenitor cells, or any other cell type.
