Maintain Human Embryonic Stem Cells & Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells
mTeSR®1 and TeSR™2 are highly specialized, complete media designed for the culture of hiPSC and hESC in serum-free, feeder-independent conditions. mTeSR®1 contains BSA and has been shown to maintain hiPSC and hESC pluripotency after extended periods in culture and can also support the derivation of hiPSC. TeSR™2 is closely related to mTeSR®1 but is animal protein-free for more clinically compatible culture of these cells.

Use mTeSR®1 or TeSR™2 to:
  • Maintain and expand undifferentiated hESCs and hiPSCs
  • Reduce variability in hESC and hiPSC culture
  • Avoid the expense and hassle associated with feeders
