mFreSR® – Embryonic Stem Cell Storage & Transportation

Cryopreservation is a critical step in the storage and transportation of hiPSCs and hESCs. Efficient cryopreservation methods must offer high thawing effiencies and maintain the pluripotency and differentiation potential of the cells. 

mFreSR^® is a serum-free defined cryopreservation medium which allows for rapid recovery following hiPSC and hESC thawing. hESCs cryopreserved in mFreSR^® have thawing efficiencies 5- to 10-fold higher than conventional thawing methods using serum.
