MegaCult
MegaCult®-C collagen-based medium is used to detect megakaryocyte progenitors. Collagen gels can be dehydrated, fixed and stained, allowing for immunocytochemical staining of megakaryocytes, which cannot be distinguished based on morphology alone.

Use MegaCult®-C to:
  • Quantitate megakaryocytic progenitors from cord blood, mobilized peripheral blood and bone marrow
  • Determine colony type using morphological, cytochemical and immunocytochemical staining techniques
  • Create permanent libraries of hematopoietic progenitor assays from healthy and diseased samples
