The polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane of these filters is ideal for degassing/clarifying aqueous samples and filtering strong acid/alkali solvents. The hydrophobic membrane also exhibits great temperature resistance. Each individually wrapped syringe filter is sterile, non-pyrogenic, and RNase/DNase-free and features a housing made with virgin polypropylene. They have a female luer lock inlet and a male luer slip outlet.
