Overview

Choose ready-to-use, ethically sourced, primary mononuclear cells from donors diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Ulcerative colitis is an autoimmune gastrointestinal disorder that causes the inflammation and formation of ulcers along the innermost layer of the colon and rectum. Cells from donors with ulcerative colitis can be used as representative intestinal model to study the interactions between intestinal and immune cells in triggering the pathological responses of the disorder. Get the cells you need with custom products, flexible delivery times, and the option to reserve entire lots to prescreen cells for applications.

Isolated using density gradient separation or red blood cell lysis and cryopreserved in animal component-free CryoStor®CS10 medium (Catalog #07930) or serum-free medium, cells are collected using Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved consent forms and protocols. Citrate-phosphate-dextrose-adenine 1 (CPDA-1), acid-citrate-dextrose solution A (ACDA), acid-citrate-dextrose solution B (ACDB), or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) is used as an anticoagulant during collection.
