Human Peripheral Blood Effector Memory CD8+ T Cells, Frozen
Overview
Human effector memory CD8+ T cells are isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) using an immunomagnetic depletion technique to remove CD62L-expressing cells, followed by negative immunomagnetic enrichment for CD8+ T cells, and cryopreserved in animal component-free CryoStor®CS10 medium. Blood samples are collected using Institutional Review Board (IRB) or other regulatory authority-approved consent forms and protocols. Acid-citrate-dextrose solution A (ACDA) is added during collection as an anticoagulant. Additional documentation to meet institutional requirements and high-resolution HLA typing (Class I and Class II alleles and CMV status) is available upon request. Donor specifications (e.g. BMI category, smoking status, ethnicity, etc.) can be requested in the comment box above. Donors are screened for HIV-1, HIV-2, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C.
