  • Effectively inhibits trypsin, as well as human and bovine thrombin, plasmin, and leukocytic proteases

Overview

Inactivate trypsin with Soybean Trypsin Inhibitor, Animal Component-Free (ACF). This trypsin inhibitor consists of a single polypeptide chain with two disulfide bridges. It is able to inhibit chymotrypsin to a lesser extent, but is ineffective against esterolytic, proteolytic, or elastolytic activities of porcine elastase (Vered et al.). Soybean Trypsin inhibitor, ACF has also been shown to inhibit human and bovine thrombin, plasmin, and leukocytic proteases.
