Metabolic reprogramming is an essential part of the T cell activation program. Although the metabolism of T cells cultured in vitro (where nutrients are in excess) is well understood, how T cells use nutrients in vivo is less well defined.
This webinar will highlight insights into the metabolism of physiologically activated CD8+ T cells and a new method to study T cell nutrient utilization in vivo.

Dr. Eric Ma is a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Russell Jones at the Van Andel Institute. His research focuses on T cell immunometabolism, particularly the metabolic profile of CD8+ T effector cells in vivo.
