Instructor Bios
Dr. Kiran Bhullar, Scientist, Scientific Support, Epithelial Cell Biology
Dr. Kiran Bhullar is a product and scientific support scientist in the Education & Product and Scientific Support Department at STEMCELL Technologies, supporting the epithelial portfolio (intestinal, liver, pancreatic, gastric, kidney, and pulmonary). Kiran has an M.Sc in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences from McMaster University, and a Ph.D in Experimental Medicine from the University of British Columbia, specializing in gastrointestinal biology and mucosal immunology. Kiran has a breadth of knowledge and experience in various molecular biology techniques, disease/animal modeling, and organoids. In addition to extensive frontline support for general and complex troubleshooting, Kiran has led the development and delivery of several sales and distributor training programs, content development for e-learning initiatives, as well as customer training programs under the epithelial portfolios.
