OrganoReady: Turnkey Organoid and Organ-on-a-Chip Solutions

Explore ready-to-use Organ-on-a-Chip screening designed to overcome key barriers to adoption in this webinar hosted live on April 8, 2026.

Key topics:

  • Perfused colon organoids on OrganoPlate® for high throughput drug screening & functional assays
  • Assessing barrier integrity, gut toxicity & transport
  • Vascularized models for inflammation & immune migration
  • Seamless integration into automation workflows

Advanced in vitro models such as organoids and organ-on-a-chip systems offer more human-relevant microphysiological platforms for drug discovery, but high-throughput screening (HTS) adoption has often been limited by complex workflows, specialized expertise, and engineering constraints. Ready-to-use platforms are helping overcome these barriers by making advanced tissue models more accessible for routine research and screening.

In this webinar, Dr. Paul Vulto introduces OrganoReady®, a ready-to-use organoid platform designed to simplify adoption of advanced in vitro models. He demonstrates how pre-seeded, perfused stem cell-derived colon organoids and vascular models can support drug screening, trans-epithelial barrier integrity, automated drug transport, GI toxicity profiling, and inflammation studies while integrating seamlessly into existing laboratory workflows. Through real-world examples, he highlights how these scalable, human-relevant models enable reproducible preclinical research without requiring specialized organoid expertise.

Key Topics:

  • Overcoming barriers to adopting organoid and organ-on-a-chip technologies
  • Using perfused colon organoids for drug transport, barrier function, and toxicity studies
  • Applications of vascular models for inflammation and immune cell migration
  • High-throughput screening with scalable, human-relevant tissue models
  • Integrating advanced organoid models into existing drug discovery workflows

Speaker Biography

Paul Vulto, PhD
Co-CEO and co-founder, MIMETAS

Paul is co-CEO and co-founder of MIMETAS, an early pioneer in commercial Organ-on-a-Chip solutions. The high throughput OrganoPlate® platform, launched in 2014, was the first commercially available Organ-on-a-Chip platform and was based on Paul’s invention of PhaseGuide technology. Since then, Paul and his team have been pushing the boundaries of in vitro modeling and assaying, including tissue vascularization, high throughput screening, and productization of cell biology. Prior to founding MIMETAS, Paul worked at the Universities of Leiden, Freiburg, and Bologna and start-up companies Silicon Biosystems and ScienceWorks. In 2023 Paul was named a fellow to the Netherlands Academy of Engineering.
