EasySep™ MagnetMagnet for column-free immunomagnetic separation
Overview
Using immunomagnetic EasySep™ technology, EGFR+ cells are labeled with antibodies and magnetic particles and isolated without the use of columns. Labeled cells remain in the tube while unlabeled cells are poured off. Depending on your research needs, either fraction may be used downstream.
This kit targets EGFR, which belongs to the ErbB family of tyrosine kinase receptors (RTK) expressed on the cell surface of circulating tumor cells (CTCs), macrophages, monocytes, plasma cells, and certain T cell subsets, such as effector CD4+ T cells and FoxP3-expressing regulatory CD4+ T cells (Tregs) (Sabbah DA et al. Curr Top Med Chem, 2020 and MacDonald F & Zaiss DMW Front Pharmacol, 2017).

Starting with 10% A549 cells spiked into human PBMCs, the EGFR+ cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 95.0 ± 2.8% (mean ± SD using the purple EasySep™ Magnet). In the above example, the frequencies of the start (left) and final (right) isolated fractions are 10.3% and 95.0%, respectively.
