Positive Selection

¤ Typically results in highest cell purities
¤ Desired cells are labeled with PE-conjugated antibodies and magnetic particles
¤ Positively selected cells are immediately available for flow cytometry and any other downstream application

Negative Selection

¤ Desired cells are not labeled with antibodies or magnetic particles
