Sera & serum substitutes

Sera and serum substitutes can be used as supplements to cell culture media and to provide nutrients, protein and other elements which help cells survive, grow and divide. STEMCELL Technologies offers sera that has been prescreened for specific applications as well as specialized serum substitutes for hematopoietic cell expansion.

Cell dissociation reagents

Many techniques such as cell separation, flow cytometry or stem cell assays are dependent on the cells being in a single cell suspension. Partially dissociated tissues can lead to problems in assay performance or data analysis. STEMCELL Technologies offers a collection of products and procedures that reproducibly process a variety of solid tissues to generate a single cell suspension.

Tissue culture media

Tissue culture media are necessary to maintain pH and osmolality, which are essential for viability, and to provide the nutrients and energy required for cell growth. All of our liquid media are produced in a validated cleanroom and are sterilized by filtration, sterility-tested and tested for pH and osmolarity.

Balanced salt solutions

All our balanced salt solutions are produced in a validated cleanroom where air pressure, temperature, and particulate matter are carefully controlled. These solutions are all sterilized and sterility-tested to ensure they are of the highest quality.
