CollagenCult®

Collagen gels have been shown to support the proliferation of hematopoietic progenitors. They have the advantage that they can be dehydrated and fixed for subsequent cytochemical and immunocytochemical analysis, making them an ideal system for the detection and quantitation of hematopoietic progenitors that require more detailed analysis than the standard morphological criteria that are commonly used. Furthermore, since collagen gels can be fixed, long-term records can be established.
