CD2 is a member of the Immunoglobulin superfamily and is also known as the Sheep Red Blood Cell Receptor, T11, LFA-2. CD2 is expressed on almost all thymic T cells, peripheral T cells and NK cells. Clone S5.2 also reacts with cells from rhesus monkeys.
