The traditional method of selecting and cloning antibody-producing hybridomas is performed in liquid culture and requires several limiting dilutions and screening steps to arrive at the desired antibody-producing clone. ClonaCell®-HY is a methylcellulose-based semi-solid selective medium that combines HAT selection and cloning in one step.
