Granulocytes are polymorphonuclear leukocytes that contain granules in their cytoplasm and function to secrete toxic granules or histamines, contribute to inflammatory responses, phagocytose pathogens, and regulate innate immune responses. They can be divided into three subtypes: Neutrophils, Eosinophils, and Basophils.

Cell isolation

Cell isolation kits are available for the positive selection, depletion and negative isolation of total granulocytes, or the negative selection of neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils from whole blood or a polynucleated cell fraction. These cell isolation kits have been optimized for the gentle and easy isolation of these sensitive cells for a variety of functional studies such as IgE-mediated histamine release, cytokine release, chemotaxis assays, and JAK2 molecular analysis.

Antibodies

Antibodies are available against human or mouse granulocytes.

Primary cells

Purified frozen cells are available from various sources.
