These 6-well, ultra-low adherent tissue culture plates are designed for the culture of cells in suspension. The wells in the plates have a hydrogel layer that is hydrophilic and neutrally charged. This will inhibit cell attachment, since proteins and other biomolecules passively adhere to surfaces through hydrophobic and ionic interactions.
