Dendritic cells (DC) are antigen-presenting cells that are key regulators of the immune system. They process and present antigens to naïve T cells, secrete cytokines that direct naïve T cells towards different types of T helper cells, promote differentiation and maturation of B cells, and maintain intrathymic and peripheral tolerance. DCs are commonly divided into conventional (myeloid) and plasmacytoid DCs.

Cell isolation

Isolate untouched human pan-DCs and plasmacytoid DCs by negative selection, or mouse DCs by positive or negative selection. These cell isolation kits are fast, easy, and optimized to isolate highly purified DCs for a variety of phenotypic and functional studies such as dendritic cell maturation, cytokine production, and T cell priming.

Serum-free expansion medium

StemSpan^® SFEM expansion medium is ideal for the generation and culture of dendritic cells from hematopoietic progenitors and monocytes.

Spleen Dissociation Medium

Spleen Dissociation Medium is specially formulated to maximize the recovery of dendritic cells from mouse spleen when combined with EasySep^®.

Antibodies

Antibodies are available against human or mouse dendritic cells.

Primary cells

Purified frozen cells are available.
