Traditional procedures for generating transfected cell lines using CHO or other cell lines are time-consuming and often require tedious methods to ensure that the cell population is clonal. In addition, selection in bulk liquid culture often leads to a mixture of slow and fast growing cells some of which may be non-producing. These problems can be overcome by simultaneously selecting and cloning stable transfectants using ClonaCell®-TCS or  ClonaCell®-CHO CD semi-solid medium.
