Phytohemagglutinin Leukocyte Conditioned Medium is a source of colony stimulating factors for assays of human hematopoietic progenitors from light density fractions of bone marrow and peripheral blood. It is suitable for the growth of CFU-E, BFU-E, CFU-M, CFU-G, CFU-GM and CFU-GEMM when added to methylcellulose at a final concentration of 5% with the addition of erythropoietin. Phytohemagglutinin Leukocyte Conditioned Medium is prepared using normal human peripheral blood leukocytes.
