Vial label for Anti-Mouse NK1.1-FITC (Clone PK136) 500 µg
NK1.1 (NKR-P1B and NKR-P1C) is a member of the Killer cell Lectin-like Receptor subfamily b (Klrb) type-II transmembrane C-type lectin receptors. Anti-mouse NK1.1 monoclonal antibody clone PK136 reacts with the NK1.1 (Klrb1c/NKR-P1C) gene product expressed on natural killer (NK) cells in C57BL, FVB/N, NZB, but not A, AKR, BALB/c, CBA/J, C3H, C57BR, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, NOD, SJL, 129 mouse strains. It also reacts with the Klrb1b/NKR-P1B antigen expressed on Swiss NIH and SJL mice, but not on C57BL/6. NK1.1 is a useful marker to identify NK cells by itself or in combination with other NK cell markers, e.g.,CD49b (Catalog #10726/10826). NK1.1 expression has also been reported for NKT cells, cultured monocytes and NK and T cell progenitor cells in the fetal thymus. Clone PK136 was obtained by immunization of (C3H x BALB/c)F1 mice with mouse spleen and bone marrow cells.
