CD45RO Antibody, Clone UCHL1, PE-Conjugated

CD45RO is an isoform of CD45 family that includes CD45RA, CD45RB and CD45RC, which are encoded by the A, B and C exons of the CD45 gene, respectively. CD45RO is not encoded by either exons A, B or C. It is expressed on most thymocytes, activated T cells, a subset of resting peripheral blood T lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages and granulocytes. Upon activation by mitogens or antigens naïve T cells first acquire CD45RO, and then lose CD45RA. Memory T-lymphocytes are CD45RO+. Within the hematopoietic system CD45RO is expressed on primitive multipotent progenitors and on erythroid progenitors, but not on myelomonocytic and lymphoid progenitors.
