CD15 is a carbohydrate antigen (Galβ1-4[Fucα1-3]GlcNAc, also known as the Lewis x antigen), which is found on a variety of cell-surface glycoproteins and glycolipids. CD15 is expressed on neutrophils, eosinophils and, at lower density, on monocytes. CD15 is also present on Reed-Sternberg cells of Hodgkin’s disease. CD15 is not expressed on dendritic cells.
