Currently we have an opening for a Scientific Marketing Communications Specialist in Vancouver.

The Scientific Marketing Communications Specialist is part of the Marketing department, and are responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns, using leading edge marketing tools and concepts, for assigned product lines in all markets globally.  The major focus is to generate leads for our global sales force.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaign plans for each product or group of products in the product line assigned.  This will include campaigns using on-line, email, social media, print, video vehicles and creating compelling and scientifically accurate customer communications and sales tools.  These campaigns need to get the message out and generate leads for our sales force.  The monitoring of campaign report is an integral part of this role.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the science behind the product, market trends, opportunities and competitive landscape for assigned product line(s) through for example, the Product Manager, training, and literature reviews.
  • Works with the Creative team to develop and implement overall take to market strategies for products, including key messages/sales features and apply them to marketing programs.
  • Acts in accordance with the Company’s standards of ethics and quality; follows all current Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in the biological sciences or related field is mandatory, with a graduate degree strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management and team skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
